In the third-season episode Sweet Daddy Williams:

James opens up a can of beer and walks by Florida, the beer flies right into her eyes. Was that an accident or part of the script?

A character walks into the Evans' household named Adrian, who was as sassy as Willona. Did Janet DuBois have any disputes with the producers around this time, or was she making tv show appearances?

When Sweet Daddy's thugs show up at the door with the refrigerator, there was a weird dissolve to the next scene where the fridge is already into the kitchen. Did this episode originally air that way or was it edited for syndication? If the latter is correct, then Good Times season 3 on DVD is in fact edited.

Well the beer was suppose to splash but I don't know if it were suppose to hit Florida in the face. The reason the beer splashed was to indicate that the fridge was broken which made the beer hot.

Adiran was one of Florida's friends, if you notice that Florida's friends hardly knock, I know Wanda didn't knock a few times.

And for the cut to the next scene I doubt it if viewers would have wanted to see Sweet Daddy's thugs install a refridgerator, so it was most likely shown like that when it first aired.

There is missing footage from one of the season 3 eps but it wasn't this Sweet Daddy Episode. I can't remember which one. I think footage was only missing because the Originals was in bad shape and couldn't remastered

I remember he played a janitor in one show..good actor.

Unfortunately I read he passed away in 1991 from AIDS. One of his last appearances was a guest spot on the show "Quantum Leap".

Yeah, I was sad to hear that too. I liked the various roles he played in the 1970s (Including on That's My Mama)
