I haven't seen it. I'm afraid it will diminish the amount of respect I still have for De Niro.

Yup! It took me by surprise too! The only thing that bothered me about this movie is that isn't DeNiro a little old to be the father of a 10 year old? My grandchildren are older than that!(13 & 14)

Yes he did! He's a great actor! And wasn't Dakota Fanning good? She is so cute!

Dakota Fanning was amazing in the role. She is a terrific young actress.

i saw it in theaters back in the winter...let me just say that i was staying up at my friends' place while they were out of town, alone, in a strange place, right after watching it...i slept with all the lights, the tv, and the stereo on.
freaked me out so bad.

agreed, the plot twist

and the end

anyone go back and look at how the opening credits form different words that take on meaning later in the movie?

Was the movie scary? I don't like horror movies & from lookin at the previews, it looks scary. I was thinking about seeing Angel Heart movie last weekend with Mickey Rourke, Robert Deniro, Lisa Bonet. Has anybody seen that? It looks scary.

Brian did Elizabeth Shue die in Hide & Seek? I like her. I think that was her i saw falling out of a window when i saw the previews.
