I hope I don't offend any body who is in law enforcement or has family who is. In the episode part 2 of J.J. gets arrested Michael carries in a sign that says the Fuzz is unfair to brothers especially mine. What does Fuzz mean?
My guess bad towards police. |

And while some may find the term 'fuzz' offensive, it was mild compared to some of the other nicknames give to the police. |

Here are some of the more widespread theories on the origins of "the fuzz":
"Fuzz" is derived from "fuss" because police officers are fussy or hard to please. It's a reference to the beards that police officers sported at the time. It's a slurred pronunciation of the exclamation "Feds." It's based on the criminal slang term "fuzzy," which meant "unmanly, incompetent and soft." It's from the Wolof word "fas" for a horse, which was applied to mounted police officers and then ultimately to all officers. |

I'd like to know someone who actually used the term "Fuzz"?
