Default Why no Potsie in the last episode

Why wasn't Potsie in the last episode? If I remember correctly, Anson Williams stayed right through the last season, why wasn't he in the finale?

Also, I always thought it would have been neatto have Chuck come home for the wedding. That would have been a great series suprise!

Wink i thought he and ralph should have been there

yes anson was on some of the last seasons episodes and ralph came back with richie in welcome home (pt 1) i really think they both should have been there for the last episode even if it was just a walk on like richie and lori beth.
in the original episode fonzie says to richie"whats amazing is that ten years
ago i was gonna pound you in some alley and now here we are at your sisters wedding" then he toasts richie and danny.this is cut in the syndicate version and it really pisses me off when ever i see it.

Anson has a darn good voice

I just noticed that I'm no longer a 'senior member' but a 'forum regular', when did that happen? I know I don't come here alot anymore, so I don't know what's all going on.

Perhaps they were thinking that since Potsie and Ralph weren't that close with Joanie or Chachi where if it had been Fonzie getting married they probably would have been in it.

i honestly dont remember if we ever got an "official" explanation, but from what I remember it was due to "other commitments" that Anson Williams had at the time.

I would assume that everyone was aware that the show was ending and that if someone had other work lined up they wouldn't want to jeopardize that, despite the sentimental value of being in the last episode.
