Default Eddie Murphy's Wife Files for Divorce

Eddie Murphy's Wife Files for Divorce

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Actor-comedian Eddie Murphy's wife filed for divorce Friday, citing irreconcilable differences, his publicist confirmed.

Murphy and his wife, Nicole, married in 1993 and have been separated since July. They have four daughters and one son, ages 3 to 15, according to divorce papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

"The welfare of our children is our main concern, and their best interest is our first priority," the 44-year-old actor said in a statement issued through his publicist, Paul Bloch. The former "Saturday Night Live" star's film credits include the "Beverly Hills Cop,""The Nutty Professor" and "Dr. Doolittle" movies.

I like Eddie. I really hate that this marriage didn't work out. I just knew that Eddie and Spike Lee would be the old fashioned "till death do us part"

Well Spike, don't let me down.

I'm curious as to the irreconcilable differences. Rumor has always been that Eddie was on the "down low"

There's a book coming out soon exposing all the "down low" men. I hope his name isn't on the list.

You didn't hear this from me.:

When is the book coming out? I wouldn't mind seeing who is on that list. Wasn't Eddie Murphy caught with a transexual?

I'm quoting myself. This is how rumors get started. Here is a line from an article in Black Vibe Magazine:

Karrine Steffans, better known as "Superhead," but it seems her book is causing major upset in the lives of the men mentioned in the book as partakers of her skillful ways in the bed.

This statement in the article came right after a conversation with J.L. King, author of "On the Down Low".

I read this last month and I guess I got caught up in the : that I mixed the two conversations.

Anyhoo, everyone is entitled to one mistake. That's why I said you didn't hear it from me

Maybe Eddie is a partaker of "Superhead" herself.

Unfortunately the article did not mention a release date on the book but Karrine Seffens aka Superhead is the author.

Now that was some Oprah Show. Especially when he told Oprah how the men on the DL are good looking, successful, money makers that Oprah herself would be in jeopardy of hooking Gayle up with one

If it were my husband, he might have to die It would definitely be a Color Purple scene

Look at what has just happened to Terry McMillian, author of "How Stella Got Her Groove Back"

I thought I was Here is the excerpt from Black Vibe Magazine

Wendy Williams is writing another book and she is calling the role on the men in the industry that are gay or bi-sexual, and actively participating in the "Down Low," lifestyle that seems to be a new phenomena or is it a old one, but recently exposed. I will only share with you some of the names that will appear are Busta, Redman, Method Man, Q-Tip, Dr. Dre, Marlon Wayans, Tyrese, Sisqo, Tyson Beckford, and even a bunch of NBA players

No release date but at least you have the authors name. So I guess we will have to see if Eddie's on the list :

Gosh I love your posts!!

Yeah - the looks on Oprah and (can't remember if Gayle was around - but I can imagine the look on her face) was priceless. I think I'd be walking down the street looking at every handsome, successful black man a little more suspiciously after that!!! Like - Denzel??? NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Please say it ain't so!!! (I LOVED that scene in CP - to this day, I stand up from the couch pounding my fist yelling at her to JUST DO IT!!!!)
And yeah - just a couple of weeks ago I was reading about what happened with Terry's marriage - OMG!! That b*st*rd!! Looking forward to her next book, "How Stella Got Her Groove Screwed And Is Now Kicking The Bum To The Curb!"
