Who was your favorite Munster of the family? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My favorite Munster was Grandpa because he portraited a nice Grandfather role, always bailing Herman out of trouble or coming up with a scheme to get rich! I met Al Lewis & got his autograph along with Butch Patrick (Eddie) in Boston. They were both pleasant to chat with. I told Eddie the episode I liked was with Louie Nye as "your old friend Zombo" when he won a trip to see Zombo in person. I miss spot as well!

Pat Priest's Marilyn is my favorite character. She's beautiful and sexy and I'd lve to see her barefoot.

I saw the show only to see lovely Marilyn.I have on tape the segment of Munsters where Herman does a magic act and Marilyn is his assistant.Wow,did she look gooooood!

my fav. by far is Herman. who could not like this bumbling all too true character.Fred Gwynne , may he rest in peace, was the backbone of this wonderful show.

I'm laughing at all the Marilyn devotees! I had no idea that people were tuning in to see her. My favorite was Herman. He was perfect in the role. I also met Al Lewis at a restaurant in New York City. He was so sweet. Such a nice man. A perfect actor for his role too. He is my 2nd favorite.

JENNIE! Don't laugh at my posting.Pat Priest is beautiful as Marilyn Munster and I'd give anything to wash her barefeet and then kiss them.God strike me dead now if I am fibbing.She is the best person on the Munsters by far!!!!

Although I must say I really liked the entire cast of "The Munsters", one of my favorites was the original Marilyn - Beverley Owen. I know I might be in the minority on this, but I think she was a very beautiful woman(as was Pat Priest)but for some reason I especially enjoyed watching her. I also loved the way Herman used to laugh and smile - he was a great actor. I think all in all, one of my three top favorites shows of all time is "The Munsters". I just wish they would broadcast more of these great shows instead of so much of the garbage on today. Thanks for listening and take care!
