If Marilyn is the daughter of Lily and Herman, how is she human? Was she adopted? And how is it that a vampire and Frankenstein's monster parented a werewolf (Eddie)? Pretty wacky genetics on this show.

Marilyn wasn't Herman and Lily's daughter. She was their niece. I don't know what made her come live with her Uncle Herman and her Aunt Lily, but she was their niece

Thanks Jenny. It's obviously been too long since I've seen the show. Any ideas why Herman and Lily had a baby werewolf?

Marilyn is Lily's sister's kid! Some guy pointed out in a book on the show that Marilyn's last name shouldn't be Munster, but Herman and Lily might have legally adopted her in which she took their last name. So that is logically not much of an uneven fact about her!!!

But the question is what was Marilyn's FATHER's surname?

Of course the entire series was spoofing all the old horror
movie characters like Frankenstein's Monster,The Wolfman,
and Dracula which is why all the rest of the family looked so..
to put it gently..weird!
