hey what did everyone of the Dukes Of Hazzard Movie me and my nephew saw it and it was great from beginning to end.definate must see.

I am torn. People keep saying it's a "fun" movie. Then again every ad you see for it it's one sexual inuendo after another and seems to be totally focused towards Jessica Simpson's arse. It just seems to be to modernized with todays society's obeession with sexed up garbage. While the original show did have some subtle inuendo, it was done in a more classy way. this seems to just be in your face innuendo. Plus with some of the original stars' opinion of it being trashed up and disrespectful towards their show, I dont know if I wanna see it or not. Plus to add to that they gotta go out and get some mtv and pop stars to play the characters. I mean come on. they couldnt have gotten real southerners? (I know Jessica is originally southern but I am sure she was hired for T&A appeal mainly)

I saw it for the first time last night on DVD and have to say it didn't do a lot for me. I am a fan of the original, but didn't care for the movie. I don't have an agenda or any terrible things to say about it, but it just didn't click with me. It really didn't capture the flavor of the original at all and there were no interesting characters. It never focused on one character enough to develope anything interesting. When I think of a tv show made into a movie, I always try to imagine the movie plot standing alone without being based on the tv show. If this had been the case with the Dukes movie, it would have been a joke for sure. Just my opinion.
