i'm looking for the names of two Warner Brothers sitcoms as well as the name and season of a Gilligan's Island episode... the only thing i know is that they were all WB shows.
a) The first one I'm looking for was from the 70's I believe and was pretty popular - it had an actress who played a waitress in a short-sleeved pink uniform with a white apron and small pink hat who worked at a diner - she was very sassy, shouting things like "kiss my grits." b) the other one is a black and white WB sitcom from way back in the 50's - a cowboy-western one (could it be Sugarfoot or was there more than one black and white WB western back then?) with a good looking actor with chiseled cheekbones who played a sheriff and had black hair and moustache. in the only clip i saw he has his hands resting on his gun holster while talking to another guy and says "I'm the one who arrested him". c) the third thing I need is the name and season of the Gilligan's Island episode where Gilligan and Skipper find some kind of object that Gilligan is holding in his hand - a surprise - and they are extremely excited as they show the doctor, who leans over to get a closer look and gets really excited too.. and Gilligan and Skipper shout "Oh boy oh boy oh boy!" and jump up and down like crazy - and of course Gilligan accidentally lets the object fly up out of his hand, and they all get dismayed very abruptly as they realize what's happened. if anyone can answer any/all three of these questions i'd be really grateful. ***BTW, if anyone knows of a website that has movie clips of sitcoms that would really help me as well. thanks in advance. |

The answer to your first question is the sitcom Alice.
Their were alot of WB westerns in the 50's. I'll have to think about that one. |

The only comedy western that comes to mind is Maverick starring James Garner. But he wasn't a sheriff, he was a gambler. You mentioned chiseled cheekbones and "Lawman" immediately came to mind. Starring John Russell as the Lawman and Peter Brown as his deputy. But this was not a comedy.
By the way, almost everything on TV in the 50's was in black and white. Bonanza was in color but I think that was the only one! And Alice is the waitress show. Flo (Polly Holliday) coined the phrase "Kiss My Grits!" As to the Gilligan question.......... That could have occurred in almost every episode! Sorry, can't help you there
