Remember the Betty and Edgar episode. After JJ said, "well, the bar is now closed", watch Edgar's face. It looked as if he wanted to crack up. Why not. JJ's comment was funny. He kept feeding him free drinks until Edgar revealed that he was broke. LOL.

I don't know if you saw my post on another thread but I met the actor who played cousin Edgar. His name is Percy Rodrigues. He was soooo nice and he seemed very excited by the fact that I recognized him from this Good Times episode. I got an autograph from him. I have to find it. Maybe I can scan it and let you all see it. It was abt ten years ago when I was with my first husband. We went to go eat at an outdoor seafood place where all the bikers love to go. They filmed lots of movies in that area; it's Malibu. Anyhow, the place is real low-keyed. Very casual, very laid back. I seen this man with his wife and I told my husband who that was. I approached him and he was just a peach. He told me about the cast and crew and how nice they all were to him and each other. He said he enjoyed working on that episode but most of all he was excited that i recognized him, being that he is considered a "character" actor. He offered us some drinks. His wife was very charming and they just were the cutest couple. I have to check the internet and find out what happened to him. Just thought I would let you all know. By the way, that scene abt JJ saying the bar is now closed, was so damn freakin' funny!!!!!!

oh yeah, and they made that God-awful dinner with the fish instead of Turkey. That was a riot. I forgot abt that episode.

that was hilarious. Dee was a trip. she made me laugh so much. I think they made the steaks so that they have an excuse to not serve him turkey since they wanted to give him that stanky fish. did i say that right. Let me see. Steaks were made. this way one for each of them except the man. If you make turkey, you have to give him turkey because there is so much of it. you know what i mean. LOL
