Trying to track down an actor - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm trying to find the name of an actor who portrayed an abused child's father in a Silver Spoons episode. I looked through the site a bit, but couldn't find his name. He's the real-life father of an old friend, whom I'm trying to track down. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think the episode was "Spare the Rod" I'll track down the actors name if i can.

The actor is Allen Williams. The episode was indeed Spare The Rod.
