Default We are getting close!

We are getting closer and closer to the That's My Mama DVDs. This will be my first "blind buy." I have no memory of this show at all, and I'm looking forward to a vintage show I have never seen before!!

Would this be easy to find at Best Buy or Circuit City stores? I wanna save some shipping charges by not having to order online.

This is going to be my first blind buy too. Well, not entirely. I saw this show in syndication around 86, but don't remember a lot about it. They say if you buy the day it's released you can find some good deals. Can't wait to check this show out and see how I like it.

I think the best thing is that it'll be coming out on the same date as a couple of more popular shows with the same audience appeal, What's Happening and Good Times. I'm sure Best Buy will probably advertise it in their next circular, and Circuit City and Target should be selling it too.

It's usually cheaper the first week. Some stores like Target or Best Buy will increase the price after the first few days it's on sale. Unless they have some sale months later, usually the best price will be the day or week that it's first released.

Does that happen in all stores, like Tower Records? or Just Best Buy and Target?

I'm not sure about Tower. I just notice it with those other stores because they come out with the sales circulars every week and I notice their prices. One time I went to Target to buy something the week after it came out. I thought it would be the same price that I saw the week before but they increased it. That's when I realized they sell stuff a couple of dollars cheaper the first week. Tower Records in NY prices are usually crazy expensive. I wouldn't buy from them.
