I would agree. I like the other roommates, too, but I was used to Chrissy since she was the original.

The 1980-'81 TV season was a big disappointment for me. Several of the shows I watched had major changes...
- Chrissy gone from Three's Company
- Richie and Ralph gone from Happy Days
- The move to Hollywood on Laverne & Shirley

I personally like Terri better, but that's just my opinion. But you're right there Fleet, the CA move on Laverne & Shirley was a mistake

The producers thought a move would help the ratings, but it didn't. The show just lost its appeal after the move. And it was much more fun when it was set in the '50s rather than the '60s.

As for Terri, I think it was a clever idea of the producers/writers to make her a nurse. It opened up a lot of new plots since her occupation was completely different from Chrissy's. There were several episodes in which her training came in handy.

TERRI WAS MUCH BETTER!!!

I liked the other girls....but w/Chrissy I hated the relationship btw the girls nothing like friends...I hated the way they tried to give Janet a mother like character over Chrissy !!! Plus she got annoying after a while!! Then Cindy was okay....b/c there were tons of JJ moments but her acting was like to exaggerated even though it was funnier then Chrissy to me ...but Terri fit perfect to me!!

I hated that they had to replace each girl with a blonde. lol......Couldn't they just have added a red head into the mix?

I did like Chrissy better during the first 2 seasons. The producers made the character to dumb by the time she left the show.

I liked Chrissy years the best, too. I think she and Janet had a great friendship - yes, Janet was a mother figure to her at times, but not all the time.

I liked Cindy and Terri. However, the only Terri season I really liked was season 6, which was great. The show really went downhill in seasons 7 and 8.

In my opinion chrissy was the best because the three of them had so much chemistry....if they would have kept chrissy and still had the fantastic writing that they had in the later seasons, there would be nothing but side splitting laughter. Terri and Cindy were still good tho. But the originals are always the best in my opinion!

At first I liked CHrissy the most when I started watching it 2 years ago because when I was younger I watched Step By Step and I didn't like Cindy until it went around to the beginning of the 5th season.I didn't know what went on with Suzanne off camera and thought the reason that Cindy was there was because Suzanne was on vacation at the time. Then when I saw the Terri episodes for the first time, she became my favorite and still is because she's so hot .
