Now that was a weak comeback. Remember the Eddie lunch rip-off when James was going to give Eddie a beating. JJ says "Can James Brown get down"? Then Thelma comes up with that weak remark. The audience that it was hilarious. On occasion, both JJ and Thelma's insults can be quite corny.

Yeah, I agree. I felt that was such a sorry comeback line. Especially when you think that these are not lines that Thelma just thought of at a spur of the moment. These are lines written in advance!!!! They were also rehearsed!!! Didn't it dawn on anyone that it sounded stupid???
