Default Dark Dante and Morris Davis Cases recently aired

I'm surprised noone on the board mentioned yesterday's episode (especially Dark Dante) where Lifetime aired the episode of Kevin Poulsen who posed as Dark Dante to break into government computers. I had actually not seen that episode in over 10 years and it was very good.

Today, Lifetime aired the case of Morris Davis, a pizza deliveryman who was murdered. The murder weapon was found 3 years later in the same town where Morris Davis lived and the weapon was linked to another man 600 miles away. The man who owned the weapon passed the lie detector test, but it was his weapon that was used in the crime. That means someone stole the weapon, used it, and then returned it according to police.

The case was very creepy as Morris Davis went to deliver a pizza and when he got to the house, the man shot him several times. Even more creepy is that Morris Davis' brother was the paramedic that arrived on the scene and he was shocked that his brother was the victim he was responding to. I felt so sad for Cliff Davis (Morris' Brother) as he was very emotional about the case and sadly the case has not been solved.

Default August 2 Mystery?

What other hour aired today (Tuesday, August 2) on UM besides the Morris Davis story? I missed the shows today, just when they started with the older mysteries (drat).

Has anyone noticed (I really need to get a life if I can remember this) that the same mysteries air in cycles on Lifetime? For instance, the Dark Dante hour aired in November 2003, before the show disappeared for a while (relegated to Saturday overnights), then the mystery came on around the next Fall, followed by now in August 2005. This probably means some more older mysteries are coming, including the burn can story.

Again, I have way too much time on my hands to remember all this, but I look forward to these older stories! They're worth watching in the evening after work, and probably creates more appreciation for TV for me than most shows out there today.

I watched them both and they're both great segments. I like seeing all the dated technology from like 15+ years ago on the Dark Dante one.

The pizza delivery murder that was on this morning was really sad. One example of how poignant and resonant the show could be. It's sad the killer was never caught... i wonder if there's been any news about that since then.

I hadn't seen that episode in years either, but I'm glad they aired it again because I have been wondering for a long time if the grocery store they filmed the update at was a store near where I live (it wasn't though )

My theory is that the ballistic testers messed up and that was not the gun used to kill Morris Davis. Either that or the man who owns the gun is not telling the full truth and passed his polygraph (which is not impossible to do).
