What I would like to know is, how did they turn this episode, into a view-master reel set? Was someone there the whole time, snapping color pictures?

I've read somewhere that is what's done. Someone from the View-master company was there with a camera.
All the View-masters made from TV shows that I've seen alot of the time have the scenes shot from a different angle than what appeared in the episode. |

Yes, I'm fairly sure they have to be there taking pictures. They're taken with a two lens, 3-D camera!

Oh, eh, speaking of TMBGitW, I recently bought this view-master set on ebay. I just need one of those little clicky things that you can see the picture with.

Buying one of those viewers on Ebay is the easy part. Buying the Munsters View-Master on Ebay, not as easy.
How difficult would it be for you to get those slide images captured and posted here? |

Not a chance in hell.
But seriously, I really don't have a clue about how to take the pix, and then upload them. |

Here are some pix of the viewmaster set. This is not from the one I won, this was from another auction.

I've got these Ebay View-Master slide snapshots saved, too.
The way to capture the View-Master slides is with a digital camera with a really good macro closeup function and a lit device of some kind. I've done it before, but I don't have the Munsters View-master set. |

Well, I'm not really looking forward to making a big project out of this, plus digital cameras are pretty expensive.
After my set officially comes from eBay, I will send them to you and you can take pictures of them if you want. But when your done, you must send my view-master reel set back. |

It would be alot for both of us to ship it back and forth and there runs the risk of damage being done to it.
I have to win one myself and then we'll have them posted here. It's a Collector's Item! Don't let it out of your sight! |

Munsters #1 you said that you have the Munsters slide but not the camera? Well you can get a View Master camera at ToysRus and places like that.

I cancelled my order on the previous view-master set. The photos looked too brown. I want to order a mint condition one, instead.
Thanks for your help, GF. I'll go to Wal Mart or something this weekend, and see if they have one of those little cameras. |

Aw nuts, the bidding on the mint condition one really shot up. I might as well forget it.
