Question Missing episodes on DVD?

When (if) Good Times season 06 is released, are they going to include the unaired episodes (I think that there were about four or five) of season 06?

if the unaired eps was shown in syndication, why wouldn't they be on the DVD?

There were about 4 or 5 eps from season 6 that CBS decided not to air because the Ratings for Good times were so bad. So those episodes were not seen until the show went into syndication

Go to www.tv.com and go to the end of season 06. There are about four or five episodes that were never aired, not even in syndication.

Oh, I could have sworn that they were never aired even in syndication. According to www.tv.com, they never were. I have never seen them even in syndication reruns. But you probably know better than I about this. Now that TvLand is showing "GT" maybe I will catch them!

The UNAIRED that you saw on tv.com means that it wasn't aired on CBS in 1979, not syndication.

I've seen all the episodes including the 3 that were never shown on CBS. I caught the one with Calvin Lockhart as Cousin Raymond when it aired on TBS back in 2002 so those 3 shows were shown both in regular syndication as well as on cable. I have no reason to believe that they wouldn't be included on the dvd. What is interesting is that there were more episodes produced in the last 2 seasons that in years 2-4 when they produced 24 episodes a season. It seems funny that they would have ordered more episodes of a dying show than they ordered when the show had healthier ratings. A Different World was the same way- they produced more episodes in the last 2 years than in the others, yet the network left some shows unaired- yet all were syndicated.

Actually, there were 24 half hour episodes of Good Times produced for each of the show's 2nd through 6th seasons. And there were 25 episodes of A Different World produced for each of that show's 3rd through 6th seasons.
