Default John Amos Nice Build

I know the guys probably won't care for this thread, but this is kind of taking this from that other thread that came from skinny JJ, Dr. Phil, Bill Cosby. I really like the build of John Amos. That's how I like my man. Not skinny, not thin; with some meat on him. I said on another thread that I found Dr. Phil's build nice. I like that. As Akita/Zion stated Dr. Phil is a tall man so the "fat" suits him just right. It doesn't look like fat on him. Just like John Amos. Oh man, when he was on Roots, you could finally see him without a shirt and his body was sooo nice. That's how I like a man, with some meat on him. JJ was too damn skinny. I can't stand a man with no meat or no fat on him. Sorry for this lame thread, just checking out John right now on the tube and it crossed my mind how great he looks. He is one "foxy dude".

I'm with you! As a kid, for some reason I thought John was more on the heavy side, but when I watched the marathon last week, he was lookin' good actually! A great tush on him too!

Ok here I am reading your post . But you are speaking the truth. John Amos is a very handsome and well built man. I don't just like them built, but I also like them tall. I'm 5'6 and I like 3-4" heels and I aint comin out of them. I plan to be just like my great aunts, sexy at 85 still wearing regular hose, not support, and heels. I don't want to be looking at or down at a man. IMO there just aren't a whole lot of tall men anymore. I have a nephew who is 6'7 19 years old. He was 6'5 at the age of 14. My sister has to fight the older women away from him.

I can see you paralegal as you were thinking and posting about John Amos

That's all right we all over somebody. I can name a few myself that don't just make you , they make you hot

Oh hell yeah. MMmmm MMMMmmm. Nice. Makes you wonder why Florida didn't spend more time with him in the bedroom and saying: DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!!!!
OH man, whoooo. I hear you. I know what you ladies mean. I like a tall man. I won't even go into the details. I saw a movie that came out in the 90's with John Amos and OMG He WAS SO FINE!!!! i swear that man gets better with age. I like when a man looks finer with time. okay ladies. you take it from here.

Well I saw him on a recent episode of Fresh Prince & he looked like he lost all of that build & gained weight which is pretty understandable since alot of people start gaining on weight with age.My mother said she used to have a crush on him when Good Times first aired.. LOL..

Because James and Florida were so poor living in that one room place they had before the projects, so Florida didn't eat as much as she should have. Hey, wasn't there a reference made in one episode that JJ was so small as a baby that Florida put him to sleep in a dresser drawer????? I swear I heard that in one episode. Help me out here!!!!!!!!!!!

Honey, I am five foot eight and a half and I love to wear heels..so I know where you are coming from...but besides that. John Amos was a hottie. He was tall with a handsome face and a great build (Florida was ONE lucky lady) and Eshter Rolle was lucky enough to have the great pleasure of kissing Amos when they both appeared on Good Times...

It may have been the episode "JJ's Fiance" when James and Florida are looking through an old photo album with the girl's parents while they're at the prom. Not sure though.

Here you go, this is one reason I finally sign on this board, to lend a helping hand. That episode is "Love In the Ghetto", when Larry and Thelma wanted to get engaged.
