Question *MOVIE SPOILERS* - Movies With Great Plot 'Twists'?

This thread will definitely contain movie spoilers, so read at your own risk.

Sometimes they happen midway through a movie, but usually knock us off our chairs at the end, but movie twists are always great.

The twist that really took my breath away the most was The Sixth Sense. I saw it at the theater, and I just couldn't believe the end. I couldn't wait to watch it on video to see how I could have missed that Bruce Willis was dead throughout the entire movie. Upon watching it again, I couldn't believe how I missed all the clues.

My mother told me that when the original Psycho came out in the 60s, that there was an ad campaign advising viewers to keep the wild movie ending a secret.

Fight Club- Tyler Durden was a figment of the other guy's imagination!

The Village- everyone says they knew it was set in the modern day, but I honestly didn't think so!

Before Psycho, people came into movies at any time- 30 minutes in etc. But with Psycho, doors were closed as soon as the movie began because Hitchcock said you had to see it from beginning to end to understand everything.

I watched, The Upside Of Anger, the other night...with Kevin Costner and Joan Allen. I really enjoyed it. It did have a twist at the end which I won't give away.

I actually figured out the ending before it happened. It wasn't that I was a genius, it was because so many people told me that ending was a shocker that I was looking for it and figured it out.

Old Boy actually has 3 twists to it. I was going to post the spoilers, but I just know Janice will be a nosey body and read it.

I will tell you that one twist happens midway through the movie. It isn't that big of a shock. The next two, happen at the end and blew me away.

The movie Identity really knocked me for a loop...I won't give anything away, but it's a great movie...really suspenseful and has you guessing the whole time about who the murderer is!

lol, I remember being about 13 when it came out and being shocked that "the hot girl is actually a dude" when I heard about it, yet now I can watch it and see masculine features the whole film.
