Question - if i leave unattended with a dvdrw disc, will it be record ok
thought i read somewhere that it must be stopped before the end to leave room to finalize, but a dvdrw doesnt need to finalize. i know my ilo will but havent tried the sanyo.. |

Pretty much all machines tend to act badly if you hit record and let the machine stop it on it's own. It may be caused by the disc, or it may be from the recorder writing so far on the disc that it does not leave enough room for lead-out.
However, it should stop on its own, and it should usually be okay. But your best bet is to learn how to use the timer, or just make a point to be there in time to stop it before it hits the end of the disc. |

i have a couple panasonic e55 recorders, i let them just run and have never had a issue with not enough room to finalize
but of couse all machines are a little different |
