Default Favorite Commercials?

What are your favorite commercials, both current and classic?

Classic: Wendy's - "Where's The Beef?", Gameboy - "Smile, You're On Gameboy Camera", and the old "Got Milk?" commercial where the old guys fight the bikers.

Current: Dr. Pepper - "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)"

I think the Dr. Pepper commercial is the best commercial ever, I watch it every time I see it come on.

Geico commercials - all of them - are my favorite current ones.

As for old ones. . . . I remember a cold cream commercial showing a circus clown removing whiteface makeup and and it turns out to be a woman - a beautiful woman with long, silky brown hair.

Ooooooooh, I would have loved to be in that circus trailer!

Oooo, once I saw this hilarious commercial when I was in Cape May where there was this fat woman who was being all dramatic because she thought she was too overweight to bring her kids to the park. It was funny simply because the acting was so horrendus.

I FORGOT ABOUT THAT!!!!! I haven't thought of Gameboy Camera in YEARS. I seem to remember them coming out sometime after Gameboy Pocket came out. The Gameboy Pocket came out in 1996, so it had to be the year after that. Sigh...memories. Thanks!

My all-time fave commercial is one that only aired a few times in the summer of 2002. I would LMAO really hard every time I watched it. It was for Wax-As-U-Dry car wax. It started out with this man waxing his Jeep. His neighbors walked by and said, "Hi!". The man waved to them, but he didn't move his hand back and forth. His hand was stuck in the circular waxing motion, and his neighbors stared at him. The next scene showed him trying to talk on his phone, and he couldn't hold his phone still. His hand was STILL going in a circular motion, so he kept saying, "HELLO? HELLO?" into his phone every time it passed his ear. The third scene had the man trying to feed his dog, and the poor man couldn't put down the dog dish because his hand was STILL stuck moving in circles! The poor dog's head kept going around and around, waiting for his master to put down his dog bowl. In the last scene, the man was waxing his Jeep again and the neighbors drove past him in their mini-van. They said, "Hi!" and he waved to them again - hand still stuck going in circles. I LOVE THAT COMMERCIAL. Too bad nobody I've talked to remembers that commercial at all. I have it on a tape - I'm going to take screencaps of it one day.

There was another commercial that had me in tears, but I don't remember what it was for. Kristen (Kristen on here) made a copy of "Television's Funniest Women" special that aired in the spring of 2003, and it was on there. I believe it was for some kind of insurance. I'm going to have to go look again. It was soooo funny.

Do you remember this one Geico commercial that was on TV in about 1999 or so? It took place in a fancy French restaurant, and a three-headed man was fighting over this lady, and one of the heads was French Stewart, of 3rd Rock fame. I wish I had it on tape.

I like that Healthy Choice ice cream commercial where the girl is giving her mom a real sad story to get ice cream... "did I mention the scary wolves?" it's too cute!

I love the "Emerald Nuts" commercial

Especially when the Easter Bunny says "What about when you told her if she eats an emerald nut the Easter Bunny gets wacked, what's that all about"

All Aflack commercials. There's a mallard at the historic Peabody Hotel in Memphis who walks around the lobby acting like the aflack duck. He's very personable.

There is an earlier version of that commercial where the girl sounds even sadder, and she says "did I tell
you about the wild wolves?"

I Like this beer commercial once where 2 guys were buying a whole bunch of grocerys, But didnt have much money, So they had to put most of it back. It came down to the beer and the toilet paper, So they thought it over for a second, Then chose the beer. Then the Cashier asked if they wanted Paper or Plastic and they both yelled "PAPER!".
