So this stupid computer at work keeps causing a 'program error' on certain sites...and as crazy as this sounds, it looks like any site that has the words "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" on them closes. Yeah, I know, I thought that too, but it happens no matter if it's here, tv.com, amazon, ebay...

What on earth is in this computer that finds those words so offensive??

Sounds like your computer is that old man at the end of the street who hates those pesky teenagers!!

Or if you're from Salem, doesn't like the term "witch"!

lol! I'm not in Salem and I don't think the computer was made there...I should check that...

I know that the school system in my area blocks anything that may be considered"offensive" . I email a friend who works in the school office and her emails are screened. So that may be the case that your company's computer system is being screened.

usually surf-blocking software just blocks those sites, giving you a "page not available" error, or redirecting you to a warning page that tells you that the site is not accessible.... what is the specific error message, and more importantly why are you surfing for Sabrina the Teenage Witch at work?

That sounds like what was going on with a few of us a couple of weeks ago whenever we'd post on a thread IMakeBurgers had posted on. Turned out it was a goofy thing in her sig - still doesn't make sense with your problem really though.
