When I first started burning dvds I tried Shop4Tech and Sonic media... got a lot of burn failures and read/write errors (even if a disc plays ok in my dvd player, if I can't copy it with the PC it's of little or no use to me). For just a few pennies more per disc you can get much higher quality media when it's on sale. Do the rest of us traders a favor and 1) learn a few things about good vs. bad media by reading the info found at www.nomorecoasters.com, and 2) download dvdinfopro (found at www.dvdinfopro.com)... this program reads the manufacturer ID off the disc ... brand names mean nothing, but pay attention to the manufacturer ID, and finally 3) look for sales of Prodisc, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Verbatim, Fuji media at places like Supermediastore.com.

call shop 4 tech first thing in the am

and ask them to cancel that crap order

your buying problems

they sell ritek go5 silver matte finish --bulk pack, 8x media

for 34 cents a disc delivered for free

use coupon code summer10 to get 10% off

so 30.6 cents each delivered to your house

for 300 and up

they ship these--not in bulk --but in 25 count cake boxes

ritek is probably the second best media--by all the rateing sites,

you will come out far ahead by buying these in the long run, from wasted duds,

if you really want cheapo blanks

staples has a sale where they, after rebate ,have $ 4.99 for 50 packs of teon and house brands

this is junk as well
