Hello dere! In response to your question, no, Mr. Haney's wife never came out in an episode. As a matter of fact, she was only mentioned in a few episodes, then never spoken of again.

Oliver: I'd take a seed, a tiny little seed, I'd plant it in the ground, I'd put some dirt on it, I'd water it, and pretty soon, do you know what I would have?
Lisa: A dirty little wet seed.

I can't imagine what she would look like if we ever did see her. I guess the writers forgot about her.

I don't think she would have looked very pretty. Mr. Haney insulted her looks a few times. Especially in the episode, "The Ballad of Molly Turgiss". Oliver asked if he had ever seen an ugly hag in the mirror while he was shaving, and Mr. Haney replied, "No but my wife has."

From the ep where Mr & Mrs Douglas have their 10-year wedding anniversary, but Oliver can't remember how long they were married:

Eb: Mr Haney used to keep his marriage license in a frame on the wall.
Oliver: Oh, that's nice.
Eb: He used to throw darts at it !

Default Of course we never...

..."saw" Mr. Haney's wife. From the little we hear about her, she's supposed to be somewhat of a cross between Marjorie Main and "The Bride Of Frankenstein". That's why he's out "hustling" his wares most of the time!!!
{Besides, you hardly ever saw Col. Tom Parker's wife, either...Elvis' legendary manager was the inspiration for "Haney", according to Pat Buttram}

My guess is that Haney stayed married to the supposed old hag, but fooled around a lot behind her back. (I seem to recall an episode where he wanted to date Oliver's mother and another one where he wanted to date that young blonde all of Hooterville wanted to date...who, eventually, went out with Arnold!) It wouldn't surprise me, Haney is a sneaky man when it comes to everything else.

The whole "ugly wife" thing was abandoned by season two, from what I can remember, though. All of the shots he made concerning her were in the first season, I believe.

Well, Mr. Haney cheated at everything else in his life. I think to him, adultery was gravy!!

That's the episode that was just one, no photo, but Haney was definitely married at one point.
