Default Which 80's co-ed detective duo did you prefer?

David and Maddie (Moonlighting) or Remington and Laura (Remington Steele)?

I personally liked Remington and Laura better. Moonlighting was a more original series, but for some reason I was never crazy about it.

I agree Remington Steele was the best. But I have to disagree with you about Moonlighting being more original. Remington Steele had more originality in that it had Mr. Steele working with a detective who for the life of her could not find out his true identity. Remember Laura made him up,and out of the blue he appeared and took the persona of Remington Steele. But towards the end we found out that he was once a international jewel thief.

With Dave and Maddie it was the same old sloppy gum shoe and dumb blonde. JMO!!!!

P.S. Any news about Remington Steele going to DVD????

well, the storyline to how Laura and "Remington" partner up was definately more original, but "Moonlighting" was a very innovative show in terms of some of the episodes. Like the B&W episode, or the Shakespeare one, or the Film Noir episodes, etc... I never really got into the show but it was definately a really original series, but I much preferred Remington Steele. I don't understand why they had so few episodes per season, it almost looks like an HBO series when you consider the amount of episodes that ran per year.

Remington and Laura. I absolutely can't stand Cybill Shepherd.
