Main thing I want to know is who set the fire... so many possibilities.
Andy? Keith? Deb? Whitey? Jules? The whole town could be against the guy, so its a tough to figure it out. And I believe Lucas/Brooke will get together soon and I also want to see Jake back so they can make him a Main Character |

Done a little digging of my own and here is what I have come up with… frum many different sources… Lucas and Brooke are definitely not together… and won’t be for a while to come… especially with the “new girl” Rachel coming to town… and she is definitely going to take over the title of school witch… Someone told me that it is definite Mouth will be back but as far as Erica he was not sure… he will still remain supporting as far as from what I heard… so we will see if he will become bigger or smaller… Nathan and Haley are still married… in fact it might just have it that the annulment papers were forged… by none other then Dan… don’t you just love the bastard Nothing about whether or not Peyton will find a new relationship with her supposed “real” mother but as luck would have it Karen takes a liking to her and even gives her a job at the café… While Brooke and Jake were away, did Lucas and Peyton play?... as luck would have it YES… they shared a little something during the summer but do to the respect of the “other” people in their lives they decide to keep it under raps… Unfortunately Dan does not die in the fire and might just be back under lock and key with Deb… to avoid having suspicion thrown her way she decides to play the happy homemaker for an already disbelieving Dan… Karen assuming Andy no longer wants a part in her life decides to move on… and the lucky winner might just be Keith… a source has said that Keith will return this season and with open arms… or maybe being a suspect with the case of who burnt Dan he might be playing a role… Basketball will so be back this season… and so will some of the non-characters from the previous two including Tim and Skills… Unsure of where the show will initially pick up… signs point to right after the fire but others say three months down the line… While Haley and Nathan decide to try to make things work someone named Chris continues to become in the way of there progress… Nathan continues to ignore Lucas and even resorts to his old ways to get back at him for lying about investigating Dan… The script pages down here are not definite do to rewriting and editing so take it for what you will… Courtesy of azuline from fanbolt.com Link ~ http://www.fanbolt.com/forums/showth...6&page=1&pp=15 Faith & Regina INT. CAR Regina Banks, late 30's, drives. She is African-American, no-nonsense pretty. Her daughter Faith, 16, rides shotgun. REGINA: Whattaya thinking? FAITH: You really wanna know? REGINA: Probably not, but try me. FAITH: I was thinking about Ronnie Miles. Regina grins, then teases her daughter. REGINA: You were thinking about a boy... FAITH: He was always nice to me. Even when I was a freshman and he was a junior. My friends were so jealous. REGINA: Ronnie was a good kid. FAITH: Yeah. He asked me out not long ago. Faith smiles at the memory, then her smile dissipates. FAITH: But then you had to drag us off for your selfish career. Regina eyes her daughter. She didn't see that one coming. FAITH: That's what I was thinking. Regina takes the jab, then tries again. REGINA: Look, honey, I know this is tough -- FAITH: -- No. You don't. You don't know anything about it. And even if you did, you wouldn't care. REGINA: Hey. I'm OK with a little attitude about the move. But what's going on with you? FAITH: What's going on with me is that I don't wanna be here. I'm tired of moving, and I'm tired of erasing my life every time you see another chance to prove yourself. REGINA: OK, first of all, do not raise your voice at me. And I think you meant "improve myself." And you too, by the way. FAITH: How, mom? How is this improving me? Unless by "improving" you mean I'll look like a dork, feel like an outsider, finally make friends and then disappear and start over again. REGINA: And you think it's easy on me? Because it's not. All right? It doesn't get easier, Faith. I have a life too by the way. Goddammit. I'm trying to help us here. Don't make me feel guilty for that. Faith eyes her mother. She speaks simply. FAITH: Ya know I used to love school. Now I hate it. And you know why? Because if I love it, you're just gonna take it away from me anyway. Faith looks away, then... FAITH: So thanks for improving me, Mom. * Rachel INT. SCHOOL - DAY Rachel exits the gym and is pursued by Brooke. BROOKE: Hey. You got a problem? RACHEL: I'd say you're the one with a problem. You dance like a cripple. But your splits were pretty good. You must have a lot of practice spreading your legs. BROOKE: I also have a lot of practice making a fist. Wanna see? RACHEL: You don't scare me, Brooke. I mean, it's not like I'm a cookie or a doughnut. News flash: if you'd drop a few pounds our pyramids wouldn't suck fat girl ass. BROOKE: Don't mess with me, b-i-t-c-h. In case you haven't noticed, this is my cocktail party. RACHEL: No. In case you haven't noticed, it was your party. Now it's mine. And you're not invited. So waddle on home, little piggy. Brooke sneers at Rachel and storms off. Rachel watches her go with a smug smile. Bevan enters. BEVAN: Did I just miss something? Rachel's demeanor changes. She plays completely innocent. RACHEL: I don't know. We were talking about the routine and she just went off. Is she always like that? BEVAN: Not really. What'd she say? RACHEL: She was asking me what I thought and I made like, one little suggestion. I know she's the captain but I was really just trying to help. (beat) Maybe I shouldn't be on the squad. BEVAN: Rach, everybody wants you here. Don't worry about it. I'll talk to Brooke. RACHEL: Thanks, Bevan. I just want Brooke to like me, you know? It's hard being the new girl. They pick up their stuff, then eye Lucas working out. RACHEL: So that Lucas is a hottie. BEVAN: Well if you want Brooke to like you, you better not say that around her. RACHEL: Oh, right. Makes sense. Hottest girl, hottest guy. Don't tell me -- he's the captain, too. BEVAN: Co-captain. RACHEL: What's the other captain like? BEVAN: Um, the other captain's married. Rachel considers this, then finds a wicked smile. RACHEL: Interesting... |

LIZ 86 from fanbolt.com posted this on the mb...
It was from the eonline chat with Kristen who said Mark emailed this bit of info to her… "I can tell you that the season two DVD set will coincide with the premiere of season three--right now slated for late September or early October. Tons of deleted scenes in the set--nearly an hour's worth, I think. There's also a behind-the-scenes look at the OTH music tour (and music on the show), commentaries by myself, Bryan Greenberg and Paul Johansson, a featurette on Chad's charity football game and a piece on some of the season two new kids like Lindsay McKeon, Tyler Hilton and even the increased face time for Lee Norris. There will also be a second OTH soundtrack in the spring. It will coincide with a Peyton storyline, and I hope to talk Joy Lenz into recording a new track for it, as well. There is also a really cool thing happening with Sophia's character, but it's gonna be a couple weeks before I can tell you." And also season three officially begins shooting next week and the premiere date isn’t confirmed but most likely will be Wednesday September 21, 2005 8pm... From onetreehillfans.com the person who posts news said they went by and said new eps would officially begin october 5... tvtome is still listing september 21st as its date but is using the word (tentative) for all shows unsure so... we will just have to wait and see for a press release... |

On ONE TREE HILL, Mekia Cox (“Kenan and Kel”) will guest star as Faith, a young African-American girl who has crafted her identity around her mother's inability to remain in one place too long. While confident, smart and talented, Faith wrestles with difficulties of fitting in and constantly being uprooted each time she does. ONE TREE HILL is from executive producer and show creator Mark Schwahn (“The Perfect Score”), executive producers Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola (“Smallville”) and Mark Perry for Tollin/Robbins Productions and Warner Bros. Television Production Inc. This fall, ONE TREE HILL moves to Wednesday nights (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET). OOH AND IT IS OFFICIAL... I don't mean to be a tease, but I don't want to get my bf fired. But for NH fans theres a ton of NH scenes. Yeah!!! And theres a bunch of Haley and Brooke scenes. Its clear that Haley and Brooke will become close friends this year. People worried about NP can relaaaax, they have no scenes at all. Oh, and my BF says that there's a new Larry. He said that they tried forever to get the old Larry back, but they finally gave up and got a new actor. episode one "like you like an arsonist" lyrics by Texas Paris i have the same dream everynight and in the end i always wake up right before i cry out like a child in the dead of the night scared of thunder scared of might but you're by my side and we were both born on the fourth of july about fifteen minutes before midnight my mother's bridesmaids dressed in black and her bouquet was drenced in gas some tradition from her past my father's hands were painted red to show that he had some success i guess and they were both born on the fourth of july about fifteen minutes before midnight i feel like an arsonist because you are my perfect match and you light up everything around you i feel like an arsonist and it’s not an accident that you light up everything around you my mother's hair was braided black and running clean right down her back cutting her white dress in half her ring it sparkled ruby red her lipstick kissed into a mess i guess and they were both born on the fourth of july about 15 minutes before midnight i feel like an arsonist because you are my perfect match and you light up everything around you i feel like an arsonist and it’s not an accident that you light up everthing around you i was never under control and i knew i would never get old i was always fast and so free and taller than the highest of trees it’s time to take it up a degree and there is really nothing i need i just have to remember to breathe and guard against the heat when around you |

Ok Now I got some spoilers from http://talk.thewb.com/viewtopic.php...944&forum=49&13 They were posted by texasgirl07 on June 8. Number 1, a guy named Ron who was working on Karen's Cafe this week. He took part of his break to talk to me and my friends about some things that's going on with the show. He didn't divulge anything too top secret but he told us a couple interesting things about the changes being made in Karen's (as you can see if you look in the window of the cafe on front street in Wilmington.) He also told us where they would be filming that night so we got to watch James Lafferty, Barbara Alyn Woods and Bethany Joie Lenz at the Scott's house on Country Club drive. Quote: Remember how Karen's Cafe looked last season? Yeah, it doesnt look ANYTHING like it did before. I heard some workers talking about Lucas remodeling while Karen was away. I know some of you are probably ****ed about the changes but it looks really cool. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone so I'll just say it looks like someone with an "artistic/musical" flair helped a bit with the decor. As for the scene we watched filming at Deb and Dan's home, yes it picked up where they left off in the season finale with Haley on the door step and Nathan looking dumbstruck seeing her there. We were a bit far back so we couldn't hear much dialogue between Nathan and Haley, but we did hear Deb say something to the effect of "We have to go, it's urgent!" as she rushes out the door past Nathan and Haley. I can see it picking up right were it left off but then there would be no point for Brooke this season then.. But anyways if Deb comes running out of the house screaming that "we have to go its urgent" then I am guessing either she set the fire and she has to leave town or she is going after to save Dan... Oh I hope Nathan and Haley are so cute. I love them.. I am just tryin to pass the time til we get comfirmed spoilers. Plus I am just tryin to give us some other stuff to speculate about. |

Nothing I've heard yet... here is some new stuff
- We will not find out who burned down "Scott Motors" until the 8th or 9th episode. According to a source, the writers do not even know how they want to do it yet. Chad had a conversation with Mark (the creator) and ask Mark how he was suppose to act about the burning. Mark said "I can't tell you"! - Big change for "Peyton" (Hilarie Burton)... this season she will have straight hair. Which for you that do not know... is Hilarie's natural look. In Seasons 1 & 2 it took the hair department 3 hours to make Hilarie's hair curly. - Brooke went to CA over the summer to be with her family. While there she kissed a bunch of boys... and took pictures. This could be a huge twist in a storyline. source: onetreehillfans.com |

I found all of this stuff at www.onetreehillfans.com/spoilers

The new design has a music/art theme. Lucas has remodeled the cafe during Karen's absence, but it might go back to the way it was before. It's unclear whether or not Karen likes the changes. - There will be a new person playing Larry Sawyer this season. - Basketball will be back this season... and so will some of the basketball players (ie. Tim and Skills) - The show will pick up 2 months later from where it left off. It will have flashbacks to tie up any loose ends. There will be a huge "End of Summer" party at the beach! - Chris will return to Tree Hill to cause some chaos for Nathan and Haley. NOTE: Spoilers are not always accurate. Storyline/Episodes subject to change. After a remarkable sophomore season, the One Tree Hill phenomenon continues living up to its rep as "one of the fastest growing shows on television." In the upcoming season, this multi-generational drama finds half brothers, Nathan and Lucas Scott uncovering even more scandalous secrets about their family and friends. The lustful passion of Lucas and Brooke (real life couple Chad Michael Murray & Sophia Bush) remains unspoken, but is it ready to ignite at any moment? Will Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) find themselves together again amidst a volatile first year of marriage? Will Peyton (Hilarie Burton) find out the truth about her parents? The responsible adults of Tree Hill are finding their lives even more tumultuous, and the ultimate question will finally be answered: Who burned Dan Scott? Is the maniacal father of Lucas and Nathan dead or alive? It seems the tangled web of Tree Hill winds tighter every season. |

Mark Schwahn “Personally, I think Season Three is going to be powerful, risky, lush, relevant and yes, hopeful television.” ***Episodes ~Episode 303 - First Day on a Brand New Planet (Jesse James) It's the first day of senior year and estranged spouses Nathan and Haley have trouble adjusting as classmates. While Brooke continues to play hard-to-get, Lucas learns a troubling secret about Peyton's mom. Meanwhile, Dan closes in on the truth about the dealership fire. ![]() ![]() *Picture Credit 2 ~ Daretomove.net ~Episode 304 - An Attempt to Tip the Scales (Bright Eyes) A masquerade ball at Tric provides the perfect opportunity for Haley to win back Nathan’s heart, and for Brooke to seduce Lucas. Punk-pop sensation “Fall Out Boy” performs amidst the costume madness, while Peyton tries to come to terms with the new mother in her life. Meanwhile, Dan gives Deb an ultimatum, but soon finds she’s a much more worthy opponent than he thought. With an already tarnished past with drugs Ellie decides to tell the truth of just why she is back to her old ways… she has breast cancer. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() *Picture Credit 2 ~ Daretomove.net ~Episode 305 - A Multitude of Casualties (The Hold Steady) ~Episode 306 - Locked Hearts and Hand Grenades (Plan A Project) ~Episode 307 - Champagne for My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends (Fall Out Boy) It seems as if Nathan has been paying for studio time for Haley, which she might be unaware of. But beyond Nathan’s “charity” Chris returns to Tree Hill to not only cause problems for Haley and Nathan but to also inform Haley of what exactly he thinks of her new music and decision to leave the tour. Paul Johansson directed this episode and said “I do not appear in this episode but my likeness does in a big way”… think campaign for mayor… ![]() *Picture Credit 2 ~ 1CHERRRY ~Episode 308 - The Worst Day Since Yesterday (Flogging Molly) First Ravens basketball game will take place in this episode; which will be a huge part of the show this season. ***Miscellaneous ~Haley catches Lucas stealing money from the café register… could he be “borrowing” money for his HCM pills? ~Who better to run against Devil Dan than Karen for mayor? NO ONE! That’s why when she does Dan will be in for the fight of his life! ~Deb will adorn a VOTE FOR KAREN bumper sticker on her car… how will Dan’s personal life affect his political career. ~If you thought the “murder plot” for Dan has just been solved you are sadly mistaken… a lot of twists and turns will reveal the real culprit in episode 8 or 9! ~The new girl Lucas starts to see, Rachel, is somehow involved with Chris. ~Think of Rachel as the female Dan. She is looking to steal every girl’s boyfriend and everyone’s friend. She sets her eyes on both Nathan and Lucas and with Brooke’s new dating rules she might just have a shot with Lucas after all. ~Also look for Rachel to try and steal Queen Brooke’s crown, friends, boyfriend, and cheerleading position; team captain that is. ~Lucas has a previous past with the new character Faith. ~After Peyton yells at Haley about becoming a rock star and leaving Nathan, Brooke tries to talk with Peyton about her reaction. ~Brookes next Endeavour… “Fashion Designer”… Brooke will create her own fashion line and Mark is even considering building a whole episode around this concept with a winter fashion show. ~OTH will officially have a holiday episode. Not only one but two! While the Halloween is nearby look for a special Christmas episode planned to air in December. ~Peyton and Lucas supposedly have a conversation about a kiss on the steps of his porch. An extra heard Lucas says something along the lines of but the kiss we had wasn’t as genuine as ours and Peyton replies remember what happened with us; Brooke was able to forgive us and now we are all friends; do you want to ruin that? ~Look for a new store called “Suburban Fifth” to be a local hang out for the gang or even a possible place for one of the girls to work. Now that Haley is working at the café and Peyton at Tric and Brooke wanting to be a fashion designer… seems like a no-brainer to me. ~Karen and Whitey will both find out about Lucas and his HCM and the results are far beyond what anyone expects. ~It is obvious Nathan and Haley are still in love but can Nathan get passed all of Haley’s mistakes to find that their love is worth fighting for; or with the mention of divorce could this be the end of Naley? ~Mark has recently expressed interest in bringing back Bryan Greenberg. With the speculation of a Peyton and Lucas reunion could there be another ugly love triangle ready to emerge? ~With Mouth now a recurring character on OTH and Brooke putting him on “the party wall list” could something romantic happen between these two good friends? ~Look for Barbara Alyn Woods to take it all of in an upcoming episode as Deb, the newly single club owner with a lot of time on her hands. ***Casing ~Tyler Hilton ~ Chris Keller, hell-bent whiner who broke up Nathan and Haley looking to stir the pot again. ~Danneel Harris ~ Rachel, the new town “witch” ready to take over everything and everyone. ~Mekia Cox ~ Faith, a friend from Lucas’s past who will have a hard time fitting in at first. ~Mark Joy ~ Present Tree Hill Mayor ~Sheryl Lee ~ Peyton’s biological mother, who has a shady past but is looking to rectify her past mistakes with Peyton. ~Kevin Kilner ~ The new Larry Sawyer, who plays Peyton’s adoptive father. ~Brett Claywell ~ Known as Tim but also Dim will be recurring in several episodes this season. ***Official One Tree Hill News/Interviews ~Overview from TheWB.com Lucas's transition into Nathan's world created an instant love triangle with Peyton Sawyer (Hilarie Burton). Although she was Nathan's girlfriend at the time, Peyton felt an instant connection to Lucas. Complicating things even more, Peyton's feisty best friend, Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush), quickly set her sights on Lucas. It didn't take Nathan long to notice Lucas's best friend, Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz), an intriguing girl who helped Nathan become a kinder person in the process. While the teenagers struggled to find their places in the world, the adults in Tree Hill were left to deal with the residue of decisions they made years ago. Nathan's father Dan (Paul Johansson) and Lucas's mother Karen (Moira Kelly) were high school sweethearts. When Karen became pregnant during their senior year, she was devastated by Dan's decision to put his own life and career first. He went off to college on a basketball scholarship, leaving Karen behind to raise their son Lucas alone. When Dan's dream of a basketball career didn't work out, he returned to town with Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods), the wife he met in college, and his newborn son, Nathan. There he found his older brother Keith (Craig Sheffer) serving as Lucas's surrogate father and would-be suitor to Karen. Lucas and Nathan's rivalry on and off the court even brought back old emotions for the grizzled basketball coach, Whitey Durham (Barry Corbin). Whitey coached Dan when he was the school's star player, and now he is coaching both of Dan's sons. As season two ended, Lucas finally declared his love for Brooke, who nonetheless left for California. Haley, who had previously resisted Nathan's attempts at reconciliation, surprised him by turning up unannounced on his doorstep. Peyton was confronted by a mysterious woman named Ellie who claimed to be her mother. Karen followed Andy to New Zealand. And Dan was left drugged and unconscious in the burning dealership by an unknown assailant. Season three finds everyone three months later, with many questions still to be answered. Entering senior year, Lucas finds his life as messy as ever as he balances his feelings for Brooke, with a recent summer that has drawn him closer to Peyton. With basketball season quickly approaching, his attempts to reconcile with Nathan grow more urgent. And since Dan stopped paying for his medication, Lucas searches for a way to treat his heart condition while continuing to keep it a secret from Karen. Nathan's life is as turbulent as Lucas's. He has moved home but his family life is in shambles. So, too is his relationship with Haley. Nathan must decide whether the wounds of abandonment and mistrust can be healed or if they should both move on - still young enough to avail themselves to new experiences and other loves. Aside from her troubles with Nathan, Haley struggles to find a way to balance music, school, love and friendship. Coming back isn't as easy as she thought it would be. While some friends will welcome her back with open arms, there are those that are still hurt by her sudden departure. Despite all her attempts to reclaim her old life, Haley may be forced to accept that some broken friendships may be beyond repair. Peyton is recovering from the loss of Jake, from an isolation that led her to dabble with drugs, and from the loss of her mother - at least until Ellie appeared, claiming to be her mother. Confused and angry, Peyton confronts her father about Ellie and demands to know the truth. The answer throws Peyton into a tailspin as the one thing she's always had - the grief and certainty that her mother is gone - is compromised. Torn between loyalties for the mother she always knew, and desperate for answers from this new woman in her life, Peyton takes a journey into the unknown for answers to her past that may also be intricately linked to her future. Returning from a summer in California, Brooke must decide how to respond to Lucas's declaration of love for her. Considering how fractured her emotions were the last time she committed to him, Brooke must choose between the girl she's become or a return to the old Brooke, the girl who would rather party and worry about life later - especially when new girl Rachel (Danneel Harris) comes to town to challenge her for high school supremacy. The upcoming season will also deal with the question of whether Dan will survive the fire and the attempt on his life, considering almost everyone had a motive. Karen decides to pursue some new dreams while still dealing with old nightmares. With Andy still in New Zealand, Karen must decide whether she wants to return to him or remain in Tree Hill surrounded by the ghosts of her past. Deb struggles to stay sober, which becomes more difficult after being forced to deal with the aftermath of Dan's attack. Whitey struggles with his failing health and must decide if he is fit enough to coach the Ravens in pursuit of an elusive state championship. The journeys of the people who inhabit Tree Hill have been vast, from Lucas's tentative steps off the river court into high school popularity, from Nathan and Haley's first kiss to marriage, from Peyton and Brooke's friendship through their falling out and back. But in other ways, the journey for them and others has only just begun. Where will the roads lead them? And who will they be when they reach their destination? The answers lie in a place called Tree Hill. And there is only...One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill is from executive producer and show creator Mark Schwahn (Coach Carter) , executive producers Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola (Smallville) and Greg Prange for Tollin/Robbins Productions and Warner Bros. Television Production Inc. ~From Kristen at E!online.com Q: What's in store for Lucas and Brooke this season? M.S.: Drama. Brooke spent a summer in the OC and it's altered her perception a bit. While she was working toward a new responsible Brooke, she may be inclined to resort to prior behavior. In her words, "Responsible Brooke is good, but party Brooke is gooder." Q: What can you tell us about the new girl in Tree Hill, Rachel? M.S.: Rachel is played by Danneel Harris who is extremely talented and seriously fine. So fine that she doesn't really have to go after anyone -- but she will anyway. We'll intially meet her as a blonde (at a costume party) but we'll come to know her as a red head -- red like the fires of hell. Red like...devil red. Perhaps she'll clash with Brooke and awaken Brooke's competitive fire. There's a fire theme here, isn't there? Hot girl. Devilish behavior. Lots of heat. Q: What about Faith? M.S.: Faith is played by the very awesome Mekia Cox. She's a girl who has sort of become a victim of her mother's career ambitions. (Her mom is not yet cast.) What we'd like to play with Faith is a girl who, while confident in herself is still young and navigating a confusing adolescence. Interestingly, Faith has a history with Lucas from before we met him in the pilot. It's always fun to go into the back story and remind the audience that Tree Hill was compelling before we dropped in for a visit. Q: Is there something brewing between Lucas and Peyton? M.S.: I think that when you have intense feelings for someone, especially at that age, there are always embers that remain, just waiting for a whisper of oxygen to spark things again. (Again with the fire theme.) We left them on the beach in a fairly vulnerable state. With a whole summer together ahead of them. And I believe there was a bit of a breeze blowing, too... Q: Any hope for Karen and Andy? M.S.: Karen will return from New Zealand in the Season Three premiere, but Andy will not. Karen's not very upfront about what transpired over the summer, but hopeful that Andy will return soon. At least, that's her story. For now. Q: Will we see Keith again this season? M.S.: Yes. Definitely. Q: If Dan isn't dead...what's in store for him and Lucas? Will their relationship improve? M.S.: It's tough to improve your relationship with a dead guy. .. Q: Is there hope for Nathan and Haley, or will he move on? M.S.: When I pitched this show to Fox, those knuckleheads blinked at me and said "Where's the hope?" And I replied, "This show is full of hope." And it is. Nathan and Haley are entering their Senior year as a married couple. That's unchartered water littered with fear and heartache and weakness and desire. But is there hope? Of course there is. Love is an intense strain of hope. Q: As a writer/producer is it difficult to write storylines about romantic relationships, given that the audience won't always agree with how things end up? Especially with Nathan and Haley, and the love triangle between Lucas, Brooke and Peyton? M.S.: I've said this before, even when the audience is upset with choices I make, I appreciate their point of view because it means they actually CARE about the characters and their journey. The day they all agree is the day I've lost them. Because at that point, the journey becomes irrelevant. That doesn't mean it's not tough to receive criticism of something you care about. But the fans are invested in Nathan and Haley and that's wonderful because I designed it to be cared about. I've spent two season doing Q & A sessions online (at thewb.com and fanforum.com). I think people were surprised that I took the time to do it, but I was extremely honored that people had carved a place in their lives for my show. I remain honored. Personally, I think Season Three is going to be powerful, risky, lush, relevant and yes, hopeful television. I'm 55 episodes into a show that most critics pronounced dead on arrival. And yes, success really is it's best revenge. But every day they let me do it is a good day. I take none of it for granted. Please thank the fans for watching. It means more than they know. And thanks to you for your interest. Here's to episode 56 and beyond... ***Would like to credit… FanForum.com, Fanbolt.com, the WB Boards, OneTreeHillFans.com and TV.com for the accumulation of all these spoilers! |
