I have seen at least 5 or 6 websites selling 'authentic' dvd sets of the OC. All with different artwork, all with no commercials, supposedly. I am leery of buying non-studio released dvds of any kind. I will wait for the official release................whenever that day comes. Im surprised that with Randall passing and Jack in poor health, Paramount would have released the shows by now. Its ashame...................

it really IS a shame that this series hasnt been released, or even announced on dvd yet... it would be nice if they could at least get some interviews with JK or commentaries 'n stuff for their inevitable release.

this show has a LOT of fans, it would do pretty well in sales, Paramount can't be THAT dumb.

Default Nevery heard of a DVD release yet

No, I never heard of a DVD release yet and It would be nice. I hope the Parmount logo will be on it too instead of that Viacom one. Maybe will be because it is on Happy Days The Complete First Season after it was plastered over for a long time by The Blue Moutain.

In the case of Happy Days, it did have that Red Split Box you're referring to in the first two seasons, I believe, but wasn't really plastered over.

Odd Couple originally had it plastered over longer than it was on Happy Days, due possibly to color deterioration. I hope it's on there this time.

Acually, I meant that the split box 1 was not on "Happy Days" in syndicatin exept for one episode and then all first season had those back again on DVD.

Actually, Paramount had 2 split box logos.

The first one was different from the one that was on the DVD's and had a yellow background. The familiar one had the red background.

The red version is also on Brady Bunch, LaS, Mission: Impossible, Odd Couple, Mannix, and of course the early seasons of Happy Days.

The yellow version can be found on Star Trek's third season, as well as Mission: Impossible's third season and second season of Mannix.

I wish it were to come out before Christmas, but I don't think it will happen

Sorry I meant Split box 2, but I pushed the 1 button by mistake. I was in a hurry then.

Maybe Paramount is waiting to finish DVDs. For some reason The Brady
Buch is on DVD when earlier they refused to have it on DVD. They had it on VHS first after the First movie. I wondered if The Odd couple would come out on VHS when the second movie came out though.

This show only used Split Box #2, but there was also a different Split Box logo that existed before the one that you were trying to type. Don't feel too bad, nice. These things sometimes happen.
