If this show was made today there would be no way the fat jokes would be written in the script. What in the h___ was this show's obsession with being overweight anyway?

Actually, I guess you could say the show was a bad influence in a way on kids. I remember in elementary school kids would call other kids that were larger "Rerun."

to this day, any comedy show will use the FAT JOKES!

The Parkers uses them.

We all know that South Park uses them.
