And they got the music right this time during the menu. I still can't understand why they substituted the Season 1 theme, for the Season 2 menu.

One thing I also don't like about the GI menus, is that fact that it's in widescreen. My TV is Full Screen. I wish they could have reformatted the menus to Full Screen. Most people don't even have widescreen TVs.

You're right about the DVDs! I've seen GI back in the 80's, the 80's, that looked worse than the DVD.

In other words, they cleaned up GI better in 40 years, than they could of in 20 years after the original run. I guess computer technology has really changed.

Default Another thing I noticed...

The packaging is noticeably cheaper----the places where it's supposed to fold don't bend well and tend to try to straighten out on their own. The plastic things that hold the disc are different and it's harder to remove the discs.

But other than that---and the already-mentioned snafu about where the documentary is located---the Season 3 collection is superb!!

So the menus are not fullscreen like Season 1 and 2? Do you mean that there are black bars on the menus for season 3? (Letterboxed)
