Ok. I have been trying to find the name of a sitcom for a LOOOONNG time. I am hoping someone can help me and I am not completely imagining it.

Here it goes:

All I remember is a guy (who i believe was single) he lived in a rainforest or jungle. I think he may have been a writer??? I also think i remember the animals talked and there may have been a tucan which is why i think rainforest and his house doors and stuff were always open.

It may have been on disney although i dont think so and was very short lived.

any help would be great thanks

no i am pretty sure it wasnt tarzan. it was a modern home and modern guy.

Hello. The description of this show sounds familiar to me as well.
It wouldn't of been on TVO and did this person dress up as a clown with a brown jacket? It is not the Australian man with the animals named Steve. Mabye this link here will help: http://www.tripletsandus.com/80s/80s_shows.htm

Could it possibly be the Canadian show called The Mighty Jungle? I don't know much about it other then this guy talked to animals and he was in a jungle. Sorry I wish I knew more, I remember watching it a few years ago on Showcase in Canada.
