Everybody Hates Chris sounds cute, but the stigma of being a UPN show will hurt it from breaking out

I think its timeslot will hurt Everybody Hates Chris the worst, placing it on Thursdays is not a good idea, UPN should have kept WWE Smackdown on Thursdays and had the new comedy lineup on Fridays.

I think the breakouts will be Kitchen Confidential and Everybody Hates Chris. Both shows have oozes of buzz, relatively good timeslots, and great casts. I'm gonna watch both

What if King of Queens, Yes, Dear, and Still Standing all end next year??? And the two new comedies for CBS fail, what will they have for the 2006-2007 Lineup except Two and a Half Men???

I see Yes Dear for sure ending next year and maybe Still Standing, but KOQ is in my opinion the only thing not starring Charlie Sheen that CBS has going for them in the sitcom department. I see KOQ on for a few more years, probably two or three more seasons.

I agree, it seems Yes, Dear was only brought back because Yes, Dear outperformed Listen Up and they needed to bring back one of them. Also, Still Standing lost a lot in the ratings this past year, but got enough for another season. Now that they have placed them on Wednesday Nights at a new timeslot, it will be the kiss of death for both shows, they both have had a nice run for B level comedies. What is amazing is how Yes, Dear was a forgotten mid season replacement this past year and earned a spot on the fall lineup, that rarely happens. Also, Still Standing and Yes, Dear were both bubble shows for this past season.

As for King of Queens, I can see it going nine years now that it is back on Mondays, but I really can't see it surpassing Everybody Loves Raymond which could be the best comedy CBS has ever had. I mean King of Queens going 10 years just doesn't sound right.

I can see King of Queens going ten seasons, but not any more than that.

it would be nice if any of these shows last more than a season, but I doubt it

I don't see a breakout hit with any of them unfortunately.

My Name is Earl has huge potenial.. Freddie is pretty much a guaranteed hit.. I see good things for Out of Practice, Kitchen Confidential is a potential sleeper this season.. #2 is up for grabs on Thursday 7:00 and Everybody Hates Chris COULD take that spot.. but the new best comedy in my opinion is Twins... it has all the ingridents to be a huge hit...
