lordsmurf Member Frequent Poster Join Date: Apr 08, 2005 Posts: 155	Amos & Andy restored quality DVD set completed The "official" AMOS & ANDY 16-disc DVD set is not very well made. It has sloppy amateur menus, B&W video that is NOT truly B&W (it has "tints" to it, pinks, green, yellows, etc), and has horrid audio full of hiss. Blah. So a new set was made.... This new set was sourced from the "official" VHS set released by the same distributor, but a better transfer job has been performed. All color has been removed so the signal is truly B&W again. Noise reduction has been run on the video so that it is not grainy or full of digital errors. And finally, weeks were spent restoring and purifying the audio, to get rid of hiss and other noise. This is the kind of job that needed to be done from day one, but wasn't. The new set is 8 discs, very nice. If interested in a set, e-mail me or PM me. These are the new professional-quality menus:
