For instance, in the episode "My Son the Lover," Marcy starts to flirt with James and he does his silly Heh, heh, heh laugh. In the uncut version, Florida gets mad and mocks his laugh, but TVLand cut that out. It is hard seeing these episodes cut, when you know what they really are on DVD.

That is why I don't hardly watch regular TV anymore. Everything is edited and it is commercial hell. I do have GT on my TV just as background filler while I do things. I'll watch the DVDs when I truly want to watch "Good Times" and not "Good Times Minus."

The difference is i have all 6 seasons UNCUT on VHS so TV LAND can cut out any part they want-LOL I'm still going to watch and laugh.

To me it is hard watching the episodes without John Amos (James). I watched all day the episodes with James in it and they were very good. I enjoyed them. J.J. was funny but James was the heart of the show in my opinion. I never got to see the reruns but I already read on jump the shark that James died. So sad they killed him off
