Yep - there's a thread somewhere about thunderstorms - I posted a warning about using the phone and computer during one - guess you got zapped before you could read it!!

We ran a golf course for several years and people would play golf until the storm arrived... numerous close strikes but they would keep playing.

There was a huge squall line with 70-80 mph winds one afternoon and people didn't run for the vehicles until the winds and rain had already started. We were so lucky no one ever got injured or killed out there.
