Did it suprise or shock anyone that Sara Gilbert was a lesbian and had a life partner Allie who recently had a baby from envitro fertilization. This one caught me off guard because I know she was married once to a man eho died.

No, not at all. She gives off that vibe. I was surprised Darlene wasn't a lesbian.

I guessed because her character was having sex with David before they got married and got pregnant and had his baby on the show it didnt cross my mind. But Jackie/Laurie Metcalf with her slim no figure to speak of short haired self I thought she would have been a lesbian.

Sara is big time lesbian too she is good friends with Melissa Ethridge Ellen Degeneres etc.,

My mistake read her bio wrong it was talking about her mothers late husband. Is she hispanic because her real last name is abeles.

yeah it shocked me because when she was a teen she use to date Johnny Galecki (David) in real life. In an interview once she was talking about it and how it was a bad idea to date someone you work with because when you break up it makes it hard on set to work with that person.

I didn't know Sara and Johnny dated, when was this? you could kinda tell there was a real chemistry between them, so it kinda makes sense they dated.

As far as I know, Sara's bisexual from what I've heard, she swings both ways but right now she's in love with a woman.

They started dating when he did an episode of Blossom and I believe that Blossom and Roseanne were taped on the same lot. And the Blossom kids and Roseanne kids would hang out while they were on the lots and that's how they met. And after that they started to date, and a little bit after Johnny joined the Roseanne cast Sara and him broke up.

Ain't no big deal to me...tell me she is a criminal or something terrible then I would be shocked. Her sister is Melissa Gilbert of Little House. Now when I heard and read that, I WAS SHOCKED. I know Melissa is adopted so I was curious if Sara is too.
