Default PUT THE KIDS IN THE BASEMENT

"TOTO, WE'RE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE"

There's a tornado for crying out loud. Get off of your lazy butts Roseanne and Dan. Move some of that wood out of the basement and get your kids into safety. That part always irked me.

I live in Tornado Alley -- and any sane person would've made any attempt to get into the basement or bathroom. Who stands in the living room? That's asking to be killed.

For shame Roseanne and Dan. For shame.

Hmmmm, never noticed that. Then again, I am from California, so that's probably why I didn't catch that.

Yeah but if you live in tornado alley then wouldn't you know that their isn't that much time between the warning and the time it gets to you to move a basement full of drywall, that stuff is heavy especialy a basement full, and I thought standing next to a fire place was just as safe as being in a bathroom or closet? It's not like they were sitting on the couch watching tv waiting till the last second, They were aleast getting preparred...

My point still stands. They had plenty of warning, with the radio announcer stating that Lanford was under a tornado watch. Dan and Roseanne had plenty of time to clear away even the smallest space for their children. A fireplace is not a safe location during a tornado. Fireplaces are known to collapse during a tornadic storm; trust me ..

Yes, you are right. When the sirens are sounded, you better hurry to the basement. There is maybe 5 mins -- at most.

Yeah I didn't know about the fireplace thing, I would also want to get my kids into the basement but if it was full of drywall I would be afraid it would fall over on them and trust me that stuff is pretty damn heavy...But I do get your point...

I think it's sad that I am going to college .. and during one of my class breaks .. discussing the "What if" of Roseanne ..

I'm not really pathetic .. I swear.

Also .. do you know where Olivia is? My family is from there .. I was just up there a few weeks ago.

What a weird conincidence .. I lived in Massachusetts for 9 years. I just moved back to Nebraska this summer.

I lived in Whitinsville, MA .. a few minutes out of Worcester. I am visting friends there next summer, when school finally lets up.
