What did you expect from a guy who likes "Duckman" better than Family Guy?

Well, I do agree with you that those aren't the best reasons but still everyone has their own opinion I like the show I watch it almost everynight on cartoon network and then every sunday for sure on FOX... but to each his/her own...

And wow, they are certainly a loud minority too (read some of the comments). Looks like the anti-family guy people have found a home! People who don't even find Family Guy remotely funny really needs to seriously have their sense of humor checked, opinion or not.

I will give this person one thing, he certainly has a lot of balls to write that article. But really, I don't think what FOX or Cartoon Network or most family guy fans care what one insignifcant writer thinks.

Thats true, to me he was basically desperate for someone to actually read his article... but it is his opinion which he is entitled to... but as you_cant_scare_me put it... WE ALL LOVE FAMILY GUY and thats how its going to be...

that's the whole point of what makes Family Guy so great, it doesn't follow the typial "rules" of film making, structure, and such. (according to him) I don't give a crap if it has a few recycled gags, or if its stregnth is based only on flashbacks, that's why I love it. Who the crap cares about how it will look in 40 years? Part of what makes FG fun and great is the fact that it's "crappy". Not supposed to be a emmy winning animated sitcom.

I agree.... some people should stop valuing humor on the basis of artistic merit and just ENJOY the show. It's hysterical and not meant to be high brow in the first place!

Sorry Irene, my very dear friend, but, i agree with this guy....Ive tried several times to watch this and see what its fans see in it, but, i just dont.....I will say that on occasion , I found Stewie to be mildly amusing, but, thats about it. ( Oh well, everyone has their own tastes )

I love Family Guy because it is just plain funny. It is one of the only few sitcoms that make me laugh out loud. I LOVE the flashbacks!

I will put it this way: My wife hardly laughs at any sitcoms out there and SHE laughs at F.G. My wife has pretty much become my gauge about how funny a show really is.

I agree with the guy that Stewie is a takeoff on Pinky and the Brain. So what??? A baby who wants to kill his mother may disgust some people with it's nature of violence. I can see that. But what's funny about it is that Lois never picks it up and he never actually kills her.

I love Peter Griffin's stupidity and I don't see him recycling gags or anything. Live on FG.
