Now that we have all the Sanford & Son episodes on DVD, we want more. I'm talking about the show "Sandford" that many of Sanford fans have never seen. Sadly the show was buried by N.B.C. and it never had a chance to find an audience. Several characters from the old series found their way back (Fred Sandford, Aunt Esther, Grady and Rollo). It would be a great thrill for fans to see these episodes on DVD but they never put rare stuff like this on DVD. Sad.

BET used to air Sanford as recently as the late 1990s (97-98). I used to watch it when I was in the air force. Maybe they still own the right to broadcast it. Start a write in campaign! Kind of funny that BET aired it, because it had one less black person on it than did Sanford and Son. It was a fairly funny show if I recall correctly. No Donna though, Fred had found a new woman. I don't remember seeing it, but I hear Esther was widowed. Poor Woodrow.
