I usually recorded the 9:30 a.m. Mary Tyler Moore Show...

Last night was the first 2:00 a.m. showing. I set my VCR to tape it, and when I woke up I went to watch it and...

"IT WAS A PAID PROGRAMMING INFOMERCIAL...!!"

Help me... !!

I know, man what he crap is going on? Someone told me that it really came on at 4 am.

TV Land schedule update:

EFFECTIVE OCT 22: Mon-Fri
2-4AM is Paid Programming (Every night)
4:00AM Mary Tyler Moore
4:30AM The Honeymooners

EFFECTIVE NOV 5:
12:30AM Taxi
1:00AM Roc
1:30AM The Odd Couple
2-4AM Paid Programming
everything else is the same...

So looks like Alfred Hitchcock and Charlie's Angels have vanished!

What happened to the Dick Van Dyke show? It used to come on at 9 am and 1:30 am.

Yeah, I know that feeling I taped Mary at 2AM this morning as well, fortunetly I woke up around 2:30 and rewinded my tape to see if Mary was on it--she wasn't. So I went through my Comcast guide and found her at 4am. So I taped her then, but fell asleep before I could watch.
I read somewhere that TV Land and the Screen Gems Network signed a contract about showing certain shows. Obviously, that came with the paid programming as well because it's the same ads I saw when I was trying to tape Bewitched on SGN. These people obviously have no idea how to please their audience-if they did they wouldn't give us crappy time slots and boring advertisments.

Some people from TVLand told me they show infomercials because it makes the channel cheaper.
