How did you think MTM jumped the shark during it's run? I think it did when Phyllis and Rhoda left...they were part of the show that held it together...but when they left it crumbled into pieces.

I don't think this show ever jumped the shark. I missed Phyllis and Rhoda when they left, but the show was as good as ever.

There's actually a site called that (I think most of you know it already) I don't think it ever jumped the shark. Even when Rhoda and Phyllis left, they came up with two other brilliant characters.

I agree!!! The show never even came close! I have posted several times at jumptheshark.com and said that. It could have when Rhoda and Phyllis left, but bringing in the other two actresses kept the show going.
