Very interesting. I couldn't seem to find which episode aired on 9-11-2001. Which story were you in and I can check and see if I have it?

The segment aired on 9-11-01? One of the worst dates in American History.

Are you sure it aired that day? I seem to recall every channel was covering the terrorist attacks.

Yeah, I remember that pretty much every channel was pre-empted to cover the attacks. I know MTV had the CBS News on (because Viacom owns both).

I can guarantee you that NO normal programming was on the air on 9-11-01. Perhaps it was scheduled to air that night, but that was a Tuesday and as I recall UM was on Fridays at that time. I could be wrong about the day of the week, but I know for a fact that on 9-11-01 they were covering nothing but the terrorist attacks.

Are you sure your date is correct, Doug?

Easy solution to this silly mystery...according to the episode guide (see link above) this is what was supposed to air on Sept 11, 2001...Doug West says in another post on this site that the story dealt with a police artist. He probably portrayed one of the criminals, that is why he says "Robert really made me sound like crap"

September 11th, 2001 - Lois Gibson (Investigators)
Master Sketch Artist - Lois Gibson is a self-taught portrait artist who is able to get inside the heads of traumatized victims and witnesses and can draw extraordinarily accurate pictures of criminals who have committed murder, rape, robbery and everything in-between. Can you help authorities put names to some of her latest composites sketches?

What the heck choice does Nick have? 3,000 people just died. Are they going to alarm the kids? No, just put on cartoons and hope they find out another way.

Don't bother deleting the post. I know people in their 40's and 50's that watch Sponge Bob. I'm 25 and I still watch cartoons whenever I get a chance.

No shame in that game! I watch Spongebob. My wife and I don't have kids yet, but one of our guest rooms in our house has a whole spongeboob theme for when our nieces and nephews visit and spend the night. Spongebob squarepants!!

That's cute (having a spongebob theme room). Thank you for your understanding.
