Default When Mother Winslow got married to Fletcher

When Mother Winslow married Fletcher in 1993 a better idea would have been for them to have Fletcher move in. Instead of Mother Winslow moving out. They could have had an episode right after the wedding one similar to the one on Full House when Uncle Jessie moves out. Carl is sad that after 3 1/2 years his mother will be moving out. Everyone notices Carl is acting different and moody. They come up with a solution for Fletcher to move in to the Winslow Household. I think this would have been a good idea to keep mother Winslow in the Household, and to give Fletcher a regular role on the show. What does everyone else think?

I agree that would have been a better idea, they would have been a bigger family rather than a family losing yet another family member. Plus it would have been nice if they hired just one person to play Fletcher instead of 3.

I read somewhere that Rosetta Lenoire (Mother Winslow) was getting older and was struggling with diabetes and this is why she could not appear as much on the show. I think this is why the writers got her together with Fletcher I guess to lessen her screen time. And also I noticed that there were some episodes in the first four seasons that Rosetta Lenoire did not even appear in.

That's right, as each season passed, she was getting less and less attention until she left the show completely. I think that when Mother Winslow returned for the Christmas eps, Fletcher should have been there.

Yeah I agree, it was kind of strange that Fletcher did not appear more after they got married. If Fletcher was a part of the family then why didn't he appear in the seasons 5, 6, 7 and 9 Christmas episodes when Mother Winslow appeared. Mother Winslow just left him home alone. Or maybe Fletcher just went to visit his own family. Also they could have had Fletcher go with Mother Winslow to Disney World when the whole family went.

Yeah Fletcher only appeared 3 times after the wedding took place, the first time as his original actor, the next 2 times as 2 different actors. However the 3rd time he was on his appearance was so brief I barely even count that.

I never understood why they had different actors playing Fletcher.
