Default Season 4 DVD in October 2005!

OK, I'm going to release something. Make sure everyone stays hush about it. It stays in this thread until it is announced on tvshowsondvd.com.

October 11, 2005: SOAP S4 and The Jeffersons S4

Nice to see Benson finally isn't on the cover! lol Wasn't sure since he only app. in a few of season 3's episodes but was still on the cover! And for that matter, he was in the season 3 finale when Jess dies, but mysteriously disappears for the Season 4 premiere?! Maybe the aliens beamed him up?! Wonder if there will be any special features? Prolly not, too much to hope for! An interview with Katherine Helmond or Robert Mandan would have been nice. Oh well, nice to have the show on DVD at all!!!

i'm pretty saddened by the absence of the season recap episodes - Sony really doesn't have ANY reason to release them now at ALL

i just dont understand why they didn't just include them with each season - its the most obvious, EASY thing to add as a "special bonus feature"

Well when a bonus on the season two release is an episode that already appeared on season one, that tells you where their heads are at.

Do you mean the 90 minute eps such as "Who Killed Peter" and "Jessica's Wonderful Life"? I bought those on VHS a few years back and am watching Who Killed Peter now. I just bought the entire series on VHS through ebay. Tell me, for those who have the DVDs are they unedited?

yeah, i think there was a third one too - I know one had Bea Arthur narrating the whole season retrospective, i think they were definately worth owning

i am pretty sure that some of the episodes have some small edits, although I couldn't tell you what and where...
