Respond2 (a.k.a. R2) Entertainment - who produced the wonderful Ultimate Carson Collection set - has sent over the full details of the long-awaited Tony Orlando and Dawn - The Ultimate Collection DVD set. The 3-disc package is pictured below, and has a firm street date of Sept. 13th. You'll get 9 Hours of the classic variety show plus several rare extras, all for $49.99 SRP.

I wonder if the Tonight show is the one I found where Tony sings the song Freddie wrote??? Freddie guest host of the Tonight Show OMG that would be worth the $50 just in and of itself..

I know I will be wanting this!

BTW... I went back and looked up Tony Orlando on the guest search on the Tonight Show website, and the only appearance Tony made with Freddie as guest host was the one I linked above, so it HAS TO BE THE ONE WHERE HE SINGS FREDDIE'S SONG!!!!

OMG..does anyone know if you can pre-order the TOAD DVD and how much it is? I would kill to see the show with Freddie guest hosting and Tony singing the song that Freddie wrote...that would be too much for this old heart to take.

It comes out Sept. 13th. Nine hours of the show plus the extras for $49.99. I have looked on Amazon and so far nada for preorders, but that might come soon, keep checking it.
