I have really enjoyed the past 2 seasons of the new reality tv show Gilligan's
Island. Is there any hope or any word on season 3 for the real Gilligan's Island?

you are right about that. I hate it so much that if they do make a third one I will start on online pettion for them not to. I can't stand it so much. It is worse than if they made a GIlligan movie. No true Gilligan fan would like "The Real (stupid) Gilligan's Island"

Well you guys are right about it being a insult to the original.
I love Survivor and I love Gilligan's Island so for me it is a treat.
A mixture of the two shows. I really isn't a show. It's more a game show.

That's a good point, if you like survivor style shows. Australia hasn't shown TRGI here as yet and not being a fan of the survivor style shows, I won't be tuning in when eventually (shudder) it shows up.
I'm disappointed Schwartz's desire for a few extra dollars allowed his creation to be prostituted this way.
