Question who's the fat white guy?

I know I saw this guy on at least a few S&S episodes and many other bit parts along the way. Always had the 'fat, long haired, redneck, biker' look. Reality TV will never compare to the 'good ol' days'. thanks for the assist.

There was a guy on SANFORD, not S&S who fits your description. He was Cal, Fred's partner who purchased Lamont's half of the business when he left to work on the Alaskan pipeline. I hope this helps.

Lamont working on a Alaskan pipeline? What a corny way to write him off the show. (even thought he left personally)

The funny thing about Sanford was Lamont couldn't even make a guest apperance because it would have been Sanford and Son all over again.

Default Fred's Heart Attack

Fred's heart attack would have been a good guest appearance for Lamont. Seems he would come home for something like that. If the show had lasted longer, maybe Lamont would have shown his face as a guest.

The way I understood it, Redd Foxx was always angry at the producers about how much they paid him. That's why he was out for part of a season. After the show where Fred graduates from Night School, I heard he decided to leave and that was the last of the show.

Even for a season ending episode, Fred getting his highschool diploma was A WEAK episode idea.

Anybody else catch the promos that they put on some of these DVD's? When they are plugging Sanford & Son there is a quick clip of a Sanford episode! Cal sitting on the couch laughing. Ridiculous. Somebody really dropped the ball on that one.

I'd have to go back and look. It was on several of the DVD's I think. I just thought it was really strange that they were advertising Sanford & Son on DVD and someone was dumb enough to let a clip from Sanford slip in.

Well I watched every second of the first 5 seasons on DVD and I'm 98% sure that Sanford Clip was on the Season 6 DVD. DVD that I still need to get-lol

If you have any Jeffersons, Good Times or All In The Family check those too. I've seen it more than once I'm sure.

It's also on the 2nd season of Married...with Children DVD. It has a promo saying the first 3 seasons of Sanford and Son are available, and they show Cal in the promo.
