Tomorrow morning, at 8:30 AM I will be taking me driver's test...
and I'm very scared... What was everyone expected to do in their test? Was it hard? I'm having a meltdown... |

i had to take my learner's test twice, and i barely passed it the second time. i couldn't recall a lot of it from the book, but that's just because i'm an idiot and can't read.

Everyone is nervous during their driving test.
Even though mine was way back in 1979, I still remember most of it. I was asked to back up in a straight line and do the "three-point" turnaround. I did pretty good on the test. I wasn't that nervous because I was (still am) a big car fan, and my car ('66 Dodge Dart GT) had been parked in front of my house for 2 months waiting for me to get my license. The fact that the TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard" was in its first year and I was watching it every week also made me eager to get my license as soon as possible.

Mine was just like a driving lesson. The only difference was that I had to parallel park.

![]() Maybe I'm just exaggerating about never taking my test...I do have my permit, but it expires two weeks from now and in California, you're supposed to complete 50 hours with your parents, but I've only completed FOUR, for the whole damn year! And those four hours were practice on parking lots! We had to set aside special times for me to drive, but I was always so busy. My parents never trusted me enough to go on the road, so it's like, why bother? I actually lost my permit when my wallet got stolen a month ago...I have to renew it anyway. =/ |

I just took mine back in May and I passes, but barely by like 2 points! I totally bombed at parellel parking and I did some other boo boos that took points off. But I passed so I was happy! I think if they didn't do the test by points being marked off and just tested you on how well you drove, in general, I probably would've failed!

Yayyyy! Good job!
I didnt have to take the test at the DMV because I passed the test with my drivers ed teacher (highest grade in the class...wooo). Honestly, I think I would've failed it if I had to take it at the DMV. |

Right now I'm taking driver's Ed and it is so boring. My teacher rambles on about random things for most of the class. He could seriously teach it in like 10 minutes as opposed to three hours.

*looks at your location* OMG! How weird would that be if we had the same teacher!! I'm from Maryland too! Anyways, good luck with your permit test, just read through the questions carefully and it should be fine
