Exclamation Terry Stotts??????

So after a few years of humiliating play and stupid decisions made by management, the Milwaukee Bucks look to be on the upswing. They got the #1 pick (a great addition to Milwaukee), resigned Michael Redd, obtained Bobby Simmons (Most Improved Player last season), and learned TJ Ford would finally be returning. Then, with the coaching seat empty, had a possible chance to hire established coach Flip Saunders. But TERRY STOTTS is hired??? Milwaukee has had so many strange and unexpected things happen (Terry Porter firing, for example), and the hiring of Stotts is definitely among those strange things. Stotts is a genuine, nice guy who did well as an assistant for the Bucks for four years. I don't think he's a terrible coach. However, he was not what the Bucks needed. He has not proven he can mold players, which is important seeing as how Milwaukee received the #1 pick. It should be an interesting season for the Bucks.

I think the Bucks fired Porter so they could get Saunders - unless there was some major problem with Porter that no on has talked about. Then for whatever reason Saunders was not interested or wanted to wait on the Pistons situation and the Bucks got tired of waiting and went with Stotts. No way they fired Porter with the intent to hire Stotts.
Porter did not seem like a very good coach to me, other than the players seemed to like him, which is important in the NBA. Stotts has been around for a while so we will see what he can do. Do you go to any games Jordan?

I still can;t believe Flip was fired after being the wolves coach for 10 years. After 10 years i thought a coach was above being fired. I can see them forcing him to resign, but fired?

He was an assitant to George Karl, including when Karl was coaching in Milwaukee. He was then the the head coach in Atlanta after that, and Atlanta is horrible no matter who coaches them so I am not sure what to make of Stotts.

Yes, or he is just going to take the year off and collect the $5 million that Minnesota still owes him this year.

Is it crazy? I have not heard much about it. Was another team going to sign him?

He is a pretty good player, but didnt get much playing time under Porter.

LOL@Dan Gadzuric hahahahahahahahahahahaha. That dude is a bum & Milwaukee are some idiots for signing him for that much money. LOL@Solomon dissin Terry Stotts. He was a coach at Atlanta for 2 seasons ago & he got fired LOL. Milwaukee is stupid for firing Terry Porter. They didn't even give him a chance to prove himself. Terry Stotts will be fired after a few seasons. Just watch.
