Default Which ill fated FOL spinoff would you have most liked to see?

Natalies- Big Apple Blues (when Natalie decides to live in a loft in New York's SoHo to pursue her writing career)

Blair's- Blair running Eastland

Jo and Blair- living in a dorm and experiencing college life

Stacy Q and George Clooney

Richard Dean Anderson and Rosanne Caton as an interracial couple.

Jo's Cousin (Donnelly Rhodes as a gas station owner with three kids)

Jo and Blair- living in a dorm and experiencing college life

I always loved how the two interacted!

I always felt Mindy Cohn had good enough comic timing that she would've been great carrying her own series. I would've loved a Natalie spinoff.

I would've loved Jo and Blair- living in a dorm and experiencing college life, though Natalies- Big Apple Blues (when Natalie decides to live in a loft in New York's SoHo to pursue her writing career) might've been fun and Blair's- Blair running Eastland had potential.

The rest you may never have known were supposed to be FOL spinoffs if you ask me, the episodes meant to set them up notwithstanding.

I centainly would rather have had the "Jo and Blair in college" spinoff than the latter half of FOL itself.

I would have liked to see Blair's spin off where she runs Eastland with a new group of kids. I wouldve liked the Blair & Jo spinoff but then what wouldve been of the FOL without them?

Either Blair and Jo in college, or Blair takes over Eastland. Except that last episode didn't have quite the charm as the first FOL episode.

You're forgetting one spin-off idea that, at least I would have watched, and that is a spin-off with cousin Geri! It could be about the trial and tribulations of an MS stand-up comic. They could have titled it "Funny Girl." Would you have watched?

They did seem to push Geri for stardom, but I really don't think she would've had her own show. Besides Barbra Streisand probaly would sue over the name "Funny Girl."

You're forgetting one spin-off attempt, from the 3rd and 4th season episodes that took place at the Military academy, with Peter Frechette, David Aykroyd and John P Navin, Jr... sort of an all-male FOL.

Definitely BLAIR running "EASTLAND" which was the idea the writers had in mind, but LISA WHELCHEL refused to do it. I still think BLAIR had real potential with all she had learned from MRS. G in "the facts of life"; I also believed that, for the girl she just was when she just arrived ("vain" + "self centered"), she s the one who had done the most growing, so as "headmaster" to the new generation of teenage girls she would have been great!

I like the idea of Blair as headmaster but I didn't like any of the kids in those episodes. I found them all dull or obnoxious.

You re absolutely right: the only one who was acceptable was JULIETTE LEWIS & that was the start of her acting career!
