Bob's 2nd cover art is a little less conceited (lol) with the five main stars on the cover- Bob, Bill, Marcia, Peter and of course Bob's TV wife, Suzanne.

That's a lot more original, rather than 17 pictures of Bob.

You beat me to the punch. I'm glad someone announced that over here. And I have to agree, it's better than 17 pictures of Bob (did you really count them?!). Especially if you're a fan of one of the other 4 characters. If you're a Jack Riley fan, though, you're still out of luck.

Was there any mention about special features this time? I haven't looked at the amazon.com write-up yet. I haven't decided if I'll pre-order from them or not. Last time, I didn't, and then tried like heck to find someone who had the DVD in stock on the day of release. With Harry Potter yesterday, I went to Walmart and it was cheaper over there but we'd preordered from amazon.com and then it didn't come til 1:00 in the afternoon, and my kid wanted it early.

Anyone with experience in preordering DVD's from amazon? Do they come on the release date like Harry Potter did?

Amazon.com is not legally allowed to sell DVDs until their official release date. So the DVD will probably come a few days after the release date.

I have a cousin who used the read Harry Potter. He used to call him, Harry Pothead.

I'm not really liking the pic used for the cover, even tho it's the same one used for this board here. Carol looks like a grandma, and Jerry looks doped up.

Otherwise, very 70's. I can't wait.

actually, retailers ARE allowed to take preorders before the release date as long as they dont ship them too far in advance (usually only a couple of business days to allow for shipping time)
